Hello! I'm Brie and I'll be taking you along with me, my husband Chris, and our daughter Avery, on our dream trip to England. We chose the Rick Steves Best of England 14 Day Tour. See below for a little more information about us and why we chose this tour.

My dream home would be in England (that may have played a part in choosing our destination). I am most looking forward to the cooler weather, the gorgeous green landscape, and the quaint stone architecture."
"Hi, I'm Avery. I also love to read, probably even more than my mom. I'm about to start high school, and I play the violin. I am most looking forward to visiting another country as I have never left the US before. I'm also excited to try new foods."

Our "Why's"
Why England?
The summer before my senior year of high school, my grandmother took me on a guided bus tour of England and Scotland. It was the most amazing trip and it has stayed with me throughout my life. The moment our plane departed for our journey home, I knew I wanted to go back. There is just something so wonderful about the English countryside. I have dreamed about returning to the rainy days and green landscape of England, not to mention experiencing all the amazing history that seems to be around every corner.
Why a Rick Steves Tour?
Many years ago, I discovered Rick Steves on YouTube and watched all his videos on England and Scotland. Then I found out about his guided tour company, and I imagined how amazing it would be to take one. When the opportunity and ability to travel came along it was an easy choice. I wanted someone else to plan everything...the logistics, booking all the hotels and sights, and also chauffeuring us around (you know, on the left side of the road). The itinerary was a perfect mix of cities, towns, and countryside and the group would be small.
